How to Use
- Input Text: Type directly into the editor, paste copied text, or import documents using the Upload PDF/TXT button. You can also type hands-free by clicking Dictate / Rec to use your microphone.
- Monitor Stats: Keep track of real-time metrics at the top of the screen. The dashboard instantly calculates your total Words, Characters, characters W/O Spaces, estimated Read Time, and overall text complexity (Academic Level).
- Format & Clean Up: Use the top toolbar buttons (AA, aa, Aa, etc.) to instantly convert text case. You can also click Auto Format, Remove Extra Spaces, or Remove Duplicates to quickly clean up messy formatting.
- Use Advanced Tools: Click Word Density to analyze your keyword frequency and avoid repetition. Listen to your text by selecting a voice profile (e.g., UK English Female) and clicking the speaker icon. You can also quickly insert placeholder text using the Lorem Simple dropdown and Insert button.
- Manage Session: Track your writing time using the Session Timer at the bottom left, and click the Clear button to completely wipe the workspace and start over.

How are "Read Time" and "Academic Level" calculated?
Read Time is estimated based on an average adult reading speed of approximately 238 words per minute. The Academic Level uses standard readability formulas, evaluating sentence length and syllable count, to gauge the education level needed to easily understand the text.
Do the "Dictate" and "Text-to-Speech" features require internet?
While core editing and counting work completely offline, voice dictation and text-to-speech rely on your browser's built-in Web Speech API. These specific features require an active internet connection and microphone permissions to process voice accurately.
